1. Pre uninstall restore point
Total Uninstall creates a Windows recovery point as the first step in the uninstallation process. This will appear in the list of available restore points, similar to using Total Uninstall 'program name' to uninstall. It is necessary to have Windows features enabled and sufficient disk space.
We must understand the limitations of the restoration point. The restore point contains a complete registry backup and system files. This will not protect your data or program data. Restoring the system to a previous point will not restore all deleted or modified files. You can read the complete list of file extensions for system restore monitoring and recovery on Microsoft's website.
Uninstall a complete backup of files and registry.
Total Uninstall will backup all files that will be deleted during the uninstallation process. The archiving process can be skipped without interrupting the entire uninstallation process.
The target archive is a standard zip file that contains files with complete paths. The content can be verified and extracted through third-party file compression programs such as WinRAR.
